Flora Mediterranea et Bocconea sont publiés par la Fondation pro Herbario Mediterraneo sous les auspices d’OPTIMA. Ces publications couvrent des articles traitant de la géographie des plantes, de la floristique et de la botanique systématique dans son sens le plus large, concernant les plantes méditerranéennes de tous les groupes, qu’elles soient vivantes ou fossiles. Un accent particulier est mis sur les articles qui dépassent les limites nationales en termes de couverture ou par leur intérêt général. Flora Mediterranea est une revue publiée chaque année avec divers articles, tandis que Bocconea est consacrée à des sujets monographiques:
